A not-for-profit regional trade association whose mission is to meet the needs of its members through service and education focused on industry issues and legislation in the region, to promote ethical practices, and to provide leadership in the memorialization industry.

Receive the Newsletter, “The Southerner”

It is published 4 times a year. It offers informative articles on Sales, Funeral Home, Legislative Issues, Convention Updates and so much more. Our members are free to submit articles which they feel will benefit their colleagues.

 

Scholarship to the ICCFA University

This is a 5-day program in July, designed to offer intensive instruction. The classes are taught by leading industry professionals as well as business and economics faculty at the university. The Scholarship Program Rules and Application are included in this Guide. Applications are accepted throughout the year. The recipient of the 2009 scholarship will be notified no later than March 31

 

Ability to Join the Professional Partner Affiliation Program

For a nominal fee, without having to join the ICCFA, your company can become a member of the Music License Coalition and receive the discounted music license covering all three agencies (ASCAP, BMI and SESAC).

 

Discount on John Deere Equipment

Southern members receive discounts which vary by product and range up to 28% off the retail price.

 

Reduced Rate on the Annual Convention Registration Fee

Our convention offers excellent opportunities to learn and network with others. Our members get a reduced rate on the convention registration fee. We have begun to offer CE credits for funeral directors. In addition, our convention gives attendees the opportunity to visit face-to-face with suppliers to learn about the latest products and services.

 

Reasonable Membership Dues

SCCFA has kept our yearly membership dues at a reasonable fee so that all cemetery and funeral home professionals and suppliers, both large and small, can benefit from belonging to our organization.
