The SCCFA is a not-for-profit regional trade association whose mission is to meet the needs of its members through service and education focused on industry issues and legislation in the region, to promote ethical practices, and to provide leadership in the memorialization industry.
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Robin Tennant. Robin was an integral part of The Southern, as a longtime vendor member representing Matthews International. She attended many association events and was know for her caring heart and fun loving spirit. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Dan and family. A Memorial service will be held at One Church 2130 Redwine Rd, Fayetteville, GA 30215 or streamed online via Facebook at 2pm (EST) Sunday Dec. 11th. All are invited.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Joan Sawyer. Joan was the owner of several Atlanta area cemeteries. She was a Past President of the SCCFA, and was honored with the SCCFA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. Joan was a mentor to many and a true role model to women in the profession. Services for Joan will be held on Friday, April 16th at 11:00AM at Lincoln Cemetery, 2275 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30314
